Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 of 20 January 2004 on the control of concentrations between undertakings (the EC Merger Regulation) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The Commission may take interim measures appropriate to restore or maintain conditions of effective competition where a concentration: has been implemented in contravention of Article 7, and a decision as to the compatibility of the concentration with the common market has not yet been taken; has been implemented in contravention of a condition attached to a decision under Article 6(1)(b) or paragraph 2 of this Article; has already been implemented and is declared incompatible with the common market.
