DIRECTIVE (EU) 2023/2225 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 18 October 2023 on credit agreements for consumers and repealing Directive 2008/48/EC · European Union

7. For the purpose of credit agreements, database providers shall have processes in place to ensure that information contained in their databases is up-to-date and accurate. Member States shall ensure that consumers are informed: within 30 days of the registration of any arrears in repayment of credit in a database; and of their rights in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
