Article 31

1. Member States shall ensure that asset recovery offices cooperate, within the international legal framework, with their counterparts in third countries to the greatest extent possible, and subject to the applicable legal framework on data protection, for the purposes of performing the tasks pursuant to Article 5. 2. Member States shall ensure that asset management offices cooperate, within the international legal framework, with their counterparts in third countries to the greatest extent possible, and subject to the applicable legal framework on data protection, for the purposes of performing the tasks pursuant to Article 22.
