(50) In order to avoid divergent approaches towards the implementation of the concept of legitimate interest for the purpose of accessing beneficial ownership information, the procedures for the recognition of such a legitimate interest should be harmonised. This should include common templates for the application and recognition of legitimate interest, which would facilitate mutual recognition by central registers across the Union. To that end, implementing powers should be conferred on the Commission to set out harmonised templates and procedures.
