(30) Specialised lending exposures have risk characteristics that differ from those of general corporate exposures. It is thus appropriate to provide for a transitional period during which the LGD input floor applicable to specialised lending exposures is reduced. Any extension of the transitional period should be substantiated and limited to four years at most.
