Recital 37

(37) Regulation (EU) 2019/876 of the European Parliament and of the Council (9) amended Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 to implement the Basel III standards on the fundamental review of the trading book finalised by the BCBS in 2019 (the ‘final FRTB standards’) only for reporting purposes. The introduction of binding own funds requirements based on those standards was left to a separate legislative proposal, following the assessment of their impact on institutions in the Union.
