It is important to underline the point that for products covered by the GPSR, you can only place a product on the EU market if there is a responsible person for it established in the EU. The responsible person of the product can be the importer, the authorised representative mandated by you or a fulfilment service provider. The identification and contact details of the responsible person must also be indicated on the product (or on its packaging, the parcel or an accompanying document). This can be done directly by you or another operator, but you must ensure that your product is not placed on the EU market unless the contact details of the responsible person in the EU are provided.
