COMMISSION NOTICE Guidance to the Member States for the collection of the data and the information referred to in Article 6 (5), points (a) to (d), of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 of the European Parliament and the Council · European Union

The Regulation entered into force on 19 July 2023 and will apply as of 20 January 2027. It lays down health and safety requirements for the design and construction of machinery, related products and partly completed machinery to allow them to be made available on the EU market or put into service in the EU, while ensuring a high level of protection of the health and safety. It will also repeal and replace, from 20 January 2027, Directive 2006/42/EC (3).
